Description
Every year the Todd Ruritan Club presents the Todd New River Festival at the Creek Park in Todd North Carolina. The festival features multiple music performances, storytelling, bluegrass jams, puppet shows, athletic competitions and other recreational events for all to enjoy. All proceeds go to help those in need in the community and to support ongoing Todd community projects. For the samll town of Todd, NC this is their biggest fundraiser all year which can expect at least 3,000 people to attend. When attending the festival you can expect many bluegrass bands and over 30 vendors with a variety of arts and crafts. Also expect plenty of barbeque and great food as the smells drift out of the festival area towards you as you walk to the festival from your car.Admission to the festival is free. Parking and a shuttle ride to the festival are available for $5 at the field just off Railroad Grade Road from the Highway 194 entrance to Todd.
