While rafting on the French Broad River you enjoy the beautiful and scenic Pisgah National Forest, which features some of the most spectacular and rugged mountain scenery in eastern North America. At Huck Finn Rafting Adventures, we strive to make your river experience one that is of the highest quality. We have a professional staff that specializes in rafting one river very very well — the French Broad River. Our equipment is maintained to the highest industry standards. We use self-bailing rafts that are designed with your comfort in mind. Most of our guests are return customers from previous years who have found that we take the extra step in making them feel like they are not just another number. Since we are a small family owned and operated business, we can work with our customer's individual needs.

Our professional guides, equipment, and staff can provide you and your family or group with an unforgettable white water river rafting experience. The French Broad River is the closest rafting destination to Asheville NC and conveniently located to other main attractions in the area including the Biltmore House in Asheville, the Grove Park Inn, Lake Lure, Chimney Rock State Park, Charlotte NC, Greenville SC, Knoxville TN, Hendersonville NC, Brevard NC, and downtown Asheville North Carolina.

Our outpost is located in downtown Hot Springs NC which is a beautiful small mountain town nestled in the Western NC mountains only 40 minutes from downtown Asheville NC. Mountain cabins, bed and breakfast, camping, dining, shopping, and the Appalachian Trail are all just outside our door. There are many activities in the area including whitewater river rafting, lazy river water float trips, hiking, horse back riding, biking, soaking in the hot springs, relaxing with a massage, beautiful scenic drives, or just spending time with your family and friends. At Huck Finn Rafting Adventures we strive to make your visit to the Hot Springs NC and Asheville NC area one that you won’t soon forget.

GUIDED FULL-DAY TRIP—WITH LUNCH
This is our most popular trip featuring nine miles of Class II, III and IV rapids. We provide a fresh, deli-style lunch served at our lunch stop on an island in the river. GUIDED HALF-DAY TRIP—WITH SNACKS

GUIDED AND UNGUIDED—FLOAT TRIPS
Float trips are great for people looking to get away from it all. Leisurely float/paddle five miles through the playful and relaxing lower French Broad River and enjoy all the beautiful scenery. Choose from rafts, tubes, or single and double inflatable kayaks.

Call our 24-hour toll free reservation line at 1-877-520-4658 and an honest and friendly representative will answer any questions you may have and help you with making your reservation.

Option 2: Online Reservation Request-It’s Easy!
Simply fill out as much information as possible on the online reservation form and press “submit form” at the bottom of the page. A representative will contact you within 48 hours to discuss your trip and finalize your reservation. No payment is due when you make your reservation; however, a credit card number is required to hold your reservation. Full payment is due on the day of your trip. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and AMEX to hold your reservation. If you have not received a call within 48 hours of submitting your online form, please call our toll free reservation line. Walk-ins are welcome and will be accommodated on a space available basis. Note: Reservations are strongly recommended.

Easy to Understand Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your reservation up until one week (7 days) prior to your trip date without any charge. If you cancel inside of one week (7 days), you will incur a 50% cancellation fee. If you cancel the day before or the day of your trip date (inside 48 hours), full payment will be due. There is a $50 rescheduling fee if you cancel within one week of your trip date and reschedule for a later date. Remember, we go rain or shine! We reserve the right to change or cancel a trip due to factors beyond our control. Should we cancel your trip, we will apply your payment to another trip or refund it in full.

Responsibility
Due to the nature of adventure activities, we are not responsible for lost or damaged personal articles. Although we are fully insured, YOU PARTICIPATE IN RIVER RAFTING AT YOUR OWN RISK AND WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK/LIABILITY WAIVER before your trip. Due to safety precautions, insurance requirements, and state law we do not allow the consumption of drugs or alcohol before/during the rafting trip. Anyone judged to be under the influence of drugs/alcohol will not be allowed on the trip and will not receive a refund.

We will call and confirm your reservation by phone. Any deposit arrangements will be made at that time. Online reservations are subject to availability, and cannot be guaranteed until we confirm by phone. Please allow 24-48 hours for reply. If you have not been contacted it is best to call our 24 hour Toll Free number. Call anytime year round for reservations.

We are located at: 158 Bridge Street, Hot Springs NC 28743. Remember to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled trip departure time.

From the South:
(I-26, Hendersonville NC, Columbia SC, Charleston SC)
Take Interstate 26 to Interstate 240 (Downtown Asheville).
Take exit 4A (Highway 19/23). This is a left exit.
Go approximately 8 miles to Exit 19A (Highway 25/70, Marshall).
Stay on Highway 25/70 to Hot Springs (approximately 28 miles).

From the North:
(Johnson City TN, Bristol TN, Erwin TN)
Take Interstate 26 into North Carolina.
Take Exit 11 (Mars Hill).
Follow Highway 213 West to Highway 25/70 (approximately 10 miles).
Take Highway 25/70 to Hot Springs (approximately 15 miles).

From the West:
(Nashville TN, Knoxville TN, Gatlinburg TN, Pigeon Forge TN)
Take Interstate 40 to Exit 432 (Highway 25/70) in Newport, TN.
Follow Highway 25/70 to Hot Springs (approximately 25 miles).

From the East:
(Raleigh NC, Winston Salem NC, Black Mountain NC)
Take I-40 West to Interstate 240 (Downtown Asheville).
Take exit 4A (Highway 19/23).
Go approximately 8 miles to Exit 19A (Highway 25/70, Marshall).
Stay on Highway 25/70 to Hot Springs (approximately 28 miles).

General:
We are located in the row of old buildings in downtown Hot Springs. Look for the red awning with the green canoe on top. Hot Springs is a very small town and you can’t miss us!
